I got the Baja bowl; it had a good blend of tastes with its sauce. The Baja enchilada soup was quite satisfying. Focaccia bread tastes more like diner biscuits though. Convenient location; close to I-40.

First time here and the cashier was very helpful. Food was delicious. Restaurant, including restrooms were nice and clean. I had the antioxidant salad with tri tip and it was delicious!!

Have only tried once, but was very good. BBQ Chicken Chipotle sandwich. Ordered to go and it came with a side salad. Parking is a little tough, but not horrible. Nice inside with a patio also.

Nice ambiance, delicious and healthy food. For a medium budget it has affordable prices, there cookies melt in your mouth. The staff is polite and the restroom were clean. I highly recommend this location for a yummy meal with a chill atmosphere :)

Fresh ingredients, delicious sandwiches and salads, tasty ciabatta bread! This is one of our go-to casual dining restaurants in Bakersfield. Features freshly baked bread on-site, delicious fusion style menu items and decent prices that keep us coming back.

So awesome to have a healthy and quick lunch restaurant in town! Both the sandwich and the baja bowl were fresh and tasty! The ambience of the restaurant is also very clean and modern.

I go into urban cafe at least 2 days a week I get the club on gluten free bread fruit and 2 bags of chips the employees are very friendly and helpful and fast the manger is friendly always with a smile multitasking. And fast

We visited the 2nd day they were open. Everything on their menu looked good. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the citrus tuna salad and the club sandwich. They arrived swiftly, delivered to our table outside. The Citrus Salad has citrus tuna, mixed greens, tomatoes, avocado, cucumbers, pickled red onions with citrus vinaigrette. Served with Fresh Baked Focaccia Bread. It comes with a small container of orange juice (vinaigrette?) as the dressing. The salad was flavourful and had a fresh citrus taste. I had the Club sandwich. It had roasted turkey, Applewood-smoked bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, sliced tomato, green leaf lettuce, herb aioli and came with a side salad of mixed greens and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The sandwich was well assembled and flavorful. The applewood smoked bacon was great. The balsamic dressing on the side salad was some of the best I've had. Not sure what makes it differrent but next time I'll ask for extra so I can dip my bread or sandwich into it as well. For dessert,, they have fresh baked cookies. The oatmeal raisin was soft, warm and chewy. Perfect. The chocolate with white chocolate chips was very sweet, warm and chocolate-y. Very good. I am definitely recommending this place to everyone and will be back often. I wish I had taken a picture of our meals but we dug straight in. Next time I will. The food pics here are from their site.
